We will begin training new football officials for the Fall 2026 season, beginning June 30.
Our training program uses a hybrid format that combines:
• In-person classroom instruction (Cheyenne Mountain High School)
• On-field mechanics training
• Extensive online video lessons and quizzes through artofofficiating.com
The training commitment includes:
• Four weeks of Tuesday evening classroom/on-field sessions (beginning June 30)
• Approximately 10 hours of required online video training
• Weekly assignments and quizzes
• Study of NFHS football rules and mechanics
• An 80-question TRUE/FALSE exam that must be passed prior to placement on a crew draft roster
If you are active or former military and this is your first year officiating football, you may qualify for a scholarship to cover your initial expenses.
