Member in Good Standing
- Paid annual CSFOA dues.
- Pass annual rules exam approved by CFOA.
- Attend a minimum of 6 meetings:
- Any Combination of
- Up to 1 off-season meeting
- Up to 2 crew meetings
- Up to 2 CFOA Online Meetings
- Up to 5 In-Person Association Meetings
- No meeting credit will be given for working games on meeting nights
- Any Combination of
- Attend the State Master Clinic (in person or online every year)
2024 Varsity Eligibility
- Paid 2024 CFOA dues
- Paid 2024-2025 CHSAA dues
- Current background check (every 3 years)
- Pass Veteran (non-playoff) test with 85%+ or Pass Playoff test 90%+
- Pass Mechanics test with 85%+
- Member in Good Standing
2024 Playoff Eligibility
- All the Varsity requirements plus
- Pass Playoff test with 90%+
- Minimum of 2 years varsity experience
- 5 years of experience for semi-finals & finals
- Must have worked a minimum of 7 varsity games in their playoff position (per Arbiter)
- Must have worked a minimum of 3 sub-varsity high school games
- Will have 24 hours to accept or decline a playoff assignment
- Turn back of a game after availability was indicated will also result in disqualification for the remainder of this postseason and the postseason next year
- For championship games, cannot have worked a championship in the previous 4 season
- Must be available for all Saturdays in the postseason
2024 Crew Game Playoff Eligibility
- All the Varsity requirements
- Pass the Playoff test
- Please note, if all you do is meet these requirements, you will not be eligible for any other playoff games, unless you meet all the Playoff Eligibility requirements
2024 Deadlines (subject to change by CFOA)
- Veteran Rules Test – must be completed before your first varsity game. Test remains open all year
- Mechanics Test – must be completed before your first varsity game. Test remains open all year – Must be completed by midnight, August 28th if you want to be considered for playoffs
- Playoffs Rules Test – Must be completed by midnight, August 28th if you want to be considered for playoffs
- New Officials Test – must be completed before being drafted onto a crew
